TALAR MOBILISATION

Mar 23, 2019

The Talus, aka Astragalus, is the centre of postural harmony + stability plus one of the 3 core sites of mechanoreceptors for postural equilibrium.

The Talus is commonly forced to compensate after an ankle inversion injury (and how many of your patients have ever rolled their ankle?!?).

This blog highlights:

  • the clinical clues to pay attention to
  • the clinical tests to do before you mobilise the Talus
  • the Talar mobilisation actions
